My Story
A big hello to you all and thank you for popping by for a visit!
When people ask me 'how did you get into drawing?', 'Where do you get your inspiration from?'. I always find it a little daunting trying to remember for one! But the truth is there have been many factors and circumstances that have paved the way for my little artistic journey, sometimes it's been hard and believe me, I've learnt a whole lot about what not to do and I hope I have taken it all on board constructively. Having said that, I have been overwhelmed by the positive response I've received towards my paintings, so a big thanks to all who have filled me with positivity and spurred me on every step of the way.
I have always had a love for illustration and take inspiration from books that I used to read as a child. After studying GCSE Art & Design I continued my learning studying A-Level Art alongside Art History and Photography. I have been lucky enough to have illustrated a number of children's books for different authors which has been a truly rewarding experience and one which I shall treasure.
Landscape painting is where I feel comfortable whether it being something from my imagination or a place from real life, being able to paint trees and waterfalls is something I find so relaxing and natural, we really do have a beautiful planet.
Portrait painting is an area which I will hope to develop further, like all things, practice, practice, practice!
You'll find original landscape pieces for sale via the shop tab at the top of the page, with a few having a selection of limited prints only.
